Season-ending injury for this once spectacular goalie.

Andrew Hammond has a torn labrum in his right hip and will likely miss the end of the season, according to reports.

The struggling goalie was sent to the AHL by way of waivers early this month and was expected to rebuild his confidence there. Since his spectacular 2014-2015 season, where he had an amazing 20-1-2 performance, Hammond is nowhere the player many expected him to become.

His injury will be a turning point in the 29 years old career. The way he heals and how fast he can get back to the rink will make or break him.
