In case you missed the news yesterday the NHL announced that, as part of the upcoming 2020 NHL All Star Game festivities, some of the world’s best female hockey players will play in a 3 on 3 women’s tournament.

It’ll be an International affair with Team Canada taking on Team USA in a contest that will feature players like Hilary Knight, Natalie Spooner, Kendall Coyne Schofield and Meghan Agosta.

Check it out:

What’s even cooler is the fact that Seattle scout, Olympic gold medalist and Hockey Hall Of Famer Cammi Granato, will serve as head coach of Team USA.

Granato, who served as captain of the U.S. women’s hockey team in 1998, led the team to a gold medal in the Winter Olympics. She is also just the second woman in NHL history to be hired as a professional scout, currently serving the position for NHL Seattle.

How cool is that?! Seattle has an All-Star before even having a team name!

Granato’s counterpart with Team Canada will be fellow Hall of Fame Jayna Hefford
