When reports surfaced yesterday suggesting that P.K. Subban was absent from practice following the Holiday break, many were concerned about the severity of his injury, and Wednesday was the second straight day to bring more bad news for Subban and the Predators.

A report from the National Hockey League's official website has now revealed that Subban will miss at least the next two games on the Predators scheduled as a result of his upper-body injury, and now serious questions are being raised about the health of the star defenseman who was part of the biggest trade in recent memory.

Subban was reportedly set to meet with doctors this week and rumors are that the injury is related to a herniated disk leading some to speculate that this could be related to the neck injury that cost him his final several games as a member of the Montreal Canadiens.
