Senators fan becomes instant hero as he interrupts live broadcast with epic move!

15 seconds of fame. We love it.

This is what happened for one specific fan last night in Ottawa as the Senators hosted the Buffalo Sabres.

During the first intermission, the TSN panel joined team insider Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun to talk about the Sens’ season and future and one fan took the opportunity to send a very important message out there for anyone to hear.

As Garrioch was trying to focus on his interview, the fan climbed up behind him and started yelling some nonsense. However, his message ended getting very clear when he ended up with the words: Melnyk out.

You can tell Garrioch was pissed about the broadcast getting interrupted live on TSN, however, on social media, the guy became an instant star and hero.

Folks talked about buying him a beer while others applauded his courage to speak the truth and remind people that things need to change in Ottawa.

Senators owner Eugene Melnyk made a fool of himself last week in various radio interviews. He questioned whether the fans that are critical of his team are “real Senators fans,” after claiming that one of the more vocal ones was “a 12-year-old from Toronto” during a live interview and mercilessly slammed one of the Senators’ team insiders Ian Mendes of TSN as he spoke with host Bill Carroll of CFRA 6-10AM. He called TSN’s Ian Mendes ’bush league’ during that interview…

So, yeah, Melnyk out. The guy is a joke and this fan wanted the whole city to know it!
