Sens' defenseman prospect earn coveted title!

When you're a prospect still playing in the CHL, you still have everything to prove. Sure, some guys get drafted early and pretty sure to crack the NHL roster right away but these are a minority. For the rest of them, even the highly skilled one, each year is make or break. 

Thomas Chabot was drafted 18th overall in 2015 by the Sens. The big defenseman is expected to grow into an offensive machine with huge leadership skills, not exactly stranger to Karlsson style of play. After an awesome year, the kid received the highest honor for his effort. 

Earning best defenseman of the year at your last Junior campaign is awesome, to say the lest. You can expect to see Chabot in the Sens' lineup pretty face and even as soon as this year!
