Sheary scores his first NHL playoff goal on the breakaway!
Keystone Press.

The Pittsburgh Penguins are looking to send a message on Thursday night.

The Penguins have absolutely lit up New York Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist in the first period in Game 4 of their first round Stanley Cup playoff match up. The Penguins shocked the Rangers with three unanswered goals and have New York reeling going into the second.

It was young Penguins rookie Conor Sheary who capped off the three goal period with a beautiful individual effort. Sheary blocked what was either an attempted shot or pass from Kevil Klein at the Penguins blue line, and took it all the way down the ice on the breakaway. Sheary made the best of his opportunity and recorded his first career playoff goal against one of the best goalies in the league.
