Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby reached an important milestone yesterday night, when the Penguins lost 4-1 to the Washington Capitals. The three-time Stanley Cup champion played in his 800th NHL regular season game.

Crosby was drafted first overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2005. In 800 games played in the NHL, he registered 1040 points. He added 164 points in 148 playoff games. He helped the Penguins to win three Stanley Cups. He won 12 individual trophies over the course of his career.

Crosby also won two Gold medals with team Canada in Vancouver (2010) and Sochi (2014).

These stats are incredible, given the fact the Crosby only played 99 games between 2010 and 2013.
