Interesting…

For what it’s worth, the 25 year old Slepyshev had an outstanding season with CSKA Moscow in 2019-20 scoring 18 goals and 45 points in just 54 games. In 102 NHL games, all with the Oilers, Slepyshev scored just 10 goals and 23 points.

The native of Penza, Russia left North America after the 2017-18 NHL season to return home and with today’s news it seems that he’s made his decision to continue the rest of his professional career in the KHL.
