Stafford broke Philly's heart with this shot.

In case you missed it, this afternoon the Bruins fought the Flyers in one of these East Coast specials we all love. The game was tied 1-1 and everyone was expecting it to go to overtime. 

Then, newly acquired Drew Stafford did this: 

Granted, that's not the prettiest goal ever scored. However, with Philly still fighting hard to get into the playoffs, Stafford's weak wrister shot right through their hearts. Boston won 2-1. 

The team will travel to the West Coast this week, with matchups against Vancouver on Monday, Calgary on Wednesday and then Edmonton on Thursday. This trip will be a good indication of the level of intensity the Bruins are ready to provide. Calgary has won 8 games in a row and Edmonton is getting sharper every day.
