Stanley cup winning goalie admits he has been playing lousy
Keystone Press

It is hard to believe that a back to back Stanley cup winning goaltender believes that he is not playing up to his full potential. Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Matt Murray recently spoke with Josh Yohe of the Athletic and has not been impressed with how he has been playing these last two years.

"I feel like I have a lot more to give". He told the Athletic.

Murray is the only goalie in NHL history to win the Stanley cup back to back while technically still being labeled as a rookie in the league. Murray has only played in 62 regular season NHL games and already has two cups. Let that sink in a little. All eyes will be on Murray this season to see how can do in full length regular season.
