The Nashville Predators were already down one of their top defensemen with P.K. Subban sidelined by an injury, and now they will lose their other young star on the blue line, Roman Josi.

According to a report from Swiss Hockey News, Josi confirmed to the European media that the upper-body injury he suffered earlier this month was in fact a concussion, and also added that he would likely be out another week.

"The concussion had no negative effects on my coordination," said the 26-year-old defender to the newspaper. "I will be able to make some endurance training this week. And, if nothing else happens, I should return to the ice already next week."

Josi, who has shown himself to be a bit of a concussion magnet in his career,  was injured this past Friday when he took a big hit from Boston's Anton Blidh.
