Star player publicly announces he’ll likely skip the worlds this year!

An early report from TSN insider Pierre Lebrun states that a star player announced he’ll likely skip the worlds this year.

According to LeBrun’s tweet, Taylor Hall says he’ll likely skip the worlds this year, an event he really enjoys, to nurse some injuries he’s playing through. Some sees his move as revenge after being snub by team Canada at the last world cup.

Taylor Hall, 25-years-old, played 62 games with the New Jersey Devils since he’s been traded from the Edmonton Oilers last summer. He scored 18 goals and registered 30 assists for a total of 48 points which is a normal pace for him base on his past production.

Hall was drafted by the Edmonton Oilers and was the number 1 overall draft pick of the 2010 NHL entry draft.
