Richard Panik of the Chicago Blackhawks has outperformed himself on all fronts during the start of the 2016-2017 NHL regular season.

Last season Panik was able to put up a total of eight points in 30 games with only six goals and two assists.  This season he has been able to match those numbers in a total of only seven games played.

He is currently tied for first place with Auston Matthews for most goals scored so far this season, but Matthews surpasses him only slightly with ten points total this season over Paniks’ eight.

Nonetheless Panik is still proving to be an extremely useful asset for the Chicago Blackhawks whose veteran squad is not obtaining the numbers fans and staff would like them to reach.

Cheer on Richard Panik this season to keep up the good work and to help spread that momentum.

The Chicago Blackhawks will be facing off against the New Jersey Devils this Friday at the Prudential Center at 7:30 p.m. (ET).
