Did it feel weird for you too? There I was, sitting on my couch, TV remote in one hand, a cold one in the other and that’s when it hit me: no hockey tonight. After nearly two weeks of non-stop NHL Stanley Cup playoffs, facing an evening with no hockey seems just wrong.

However, have no fear sports fans. The Chris Coghlan of the Toronto Blue Jays provided plenty of excitement this evening with the play of the year when he leapt over St. Louis Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina for an incredible play at home plate. It’s a play that’s so wild, you have to see it to believe it:


If Toronto sports fans thought they had a real life superhero in Maple Leafs rookie Auston Matthews, well they better take another look at Coghlan.
