Strong chances to see Andrei Markov back in Montreal

If you were dreaming of a miracle comeback of longtime Montreal Canadiens player Andrei Markov, don't set your hopes too high...for now!

Sergei Berezin, Markov's friend and counsellor, said in an interview with TVA Sports there might be a 80% possibility for Markov to come back in Montreal, once his contract with Kazan AK-Bars (KHL) expires...after the next season. Markov will be 40 at that time, and let's say that coming back in the NHL at 40 years old might be a bit complicated. Yes, he surely proves that he can still play, as he registered 15 points in 22 games, and he plays an average of 21 minutes per game.

He would certainly help Montreal's offense this year, with their power play ranked 27th in the NHL, but Markov wants to complete his contract in Russia.

What's your take Habs fans? Would you like to see Markov back in Montreal in two years?
