Derrick Pouliot is still a work in progress, but it seems he might have found his mojo, at least for tonight.

During an offensive hockey fest against the Hartford Wolf Pack, Pouliot scored 4 points with 1 goal and 3 assists in a game that ended 8-1 for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins

“It’s nice when you have those games where everything you touch, every play you make, seems to turn out good,” Pouliot said.

Keys to his success were obviously his hockey sense, but he said he skated harder than usual, him being extremely mobile and fast.

“I thought I was skating. That was a big part of it … Just moving my feet a little more, getting back to pucks.”

Hopefully, this won't be a simple outburst and Pouliot will rejoin the big show for good soon enough!
