As we reported last night, Shea Weber is far from being at 100 per cent.

Montreal Canadiens' star blueliner had to miss six games in November because of a lower-body injury that was considered "minor". And before today's morning skate, it had been nearly two weeks since he practised with his teammates.

The star defenseman made a pretty surprising declaration concerning his status today, and he wasn't afraid to tell the truth to the reporters:

Nobody plays at 100 percent. Everyone deals with different sorts of pain and grinds away. You've just got to get your job done," said Weber, who returned to the lineup on December 2 against Detroit. "I'm dealing with it day to day. Obviously, you want it to get better, but it's tough when you're skating every day. I'm just trying to move forward."

Let's just hope he'll get better soon, because the Habs will surely need him over the next few weeks, as they start a seven-game road trip on Saturday, against the Ottawa Senators.
