Tarasenko takes over the Winter Classic with two quick goals in the third.

The Winter Classic lived up to the hype on Monday and it was largely due to a big third period effort from St. Louis Blues forward Vladimir Tarasenko.

The Russian superstar took over the game in the third period when he recorded two goals less than two minutes apart to give the Blues a 3-1 lead over the Chicago Blackhawks. 

The Blues would go on to add one more goal in the third winning the game 4-1
