Tavares Watch: Garth Snow makes a troubling revelation!

Where will John Tavares end up ome July first?

That is the big question around the NHL for the past few months now and every day passing by without a new contract being signed with the Islanders seems to make him just a bit further from returning to New York next year.

Even more troubling if you are an Isles fan: According to Garth Snow himself, both sides did not even exchange numbers yet as to where they sit right now,

That's what Pierre LeBrun reported recently:

''As of now, John Tavares wants to keep all of his options open and want to see what is on the table come summer. And as much as Garth Snow would like to sign him now until the end of his career and he wants him back on the island next year, they understand his position and do not want to rush him so no concrete offer has been made yet and they'll negotiate whenever he's ready. I suspect the building issue and the future of the franchise will play a big role in his decision to stay or leave the team come summer time.''

Yikes. Those are worrisome infos to say the least if you are an Islanders' fan!
