The New Jersey Devils were dealt a big blow when they lost Taylor Hall to a knee injury but he may doing a great job of mitigating the damage.

The original projections had Hall missing at least three to four weeks as a result of his injury but he may end up coming back well ahead of schedule if today is any indication of his recovery.  After just one week and two days after the knee surgery that was required to repair the damage, Hall was back on the ice today according to a report from Leo Scaglione Jr. of the Fischler Report.

He's likely still a long way away from coming back but he is well ahead of schedule here and as one of the Devils best offensive weapons that's big news for New Jersey. Hall had five goals and seven assists in his first fourteen games as a Devil and it's obvious the former first overall pick is looking to come back quickly to continue making an very positive impression on the organization and it's fan base in his first season in New Jersey.
