The New Jersey Devils probably cringed a little when they learned their big offseason acquisition Taylor Hall would require surgery to repair his damaged knee, but the way he has bounced back from that surgery may reinforced their belief that they made the right move over the summer.

Hall went under the knife on November 16th and the Devils projected he would be out somewhere in the three to four week range, but Hall has shattered those projections. In his fourth day of activity with the team Hall joined the Devils for the morning skate today, and after the skate he announced he would be returning to action.

"When you're coming back, you want to make sure every skate leading up to it, you feel good, feel great," Hall said as per Chris Ryan of NJ.com. "That's the case today, so like I said, I'm excited. I don't feel I rushed back. I feel ready to go and that's a good feeling."

Hall accounted for a large part of New Jersey's offensive production in his first 14 games with the team, picking up 12 points over that stretch, and his return as well as the speed of his return is great news for New Jersey.
