Coach Cooper is not happy.

Team Canada is recognized as a force to be reckoned with at any major international hockey event. These days, the World Championship is in full swing in Europe and many expect the True North to leave with the golden prize around their necks. However, it took a weird turn when Team Switzerland prevailed in overtime during their last preliminary match.

Jon Cooper was clearly not happy with the result and massively reshuffled the lineup.

A few interesting things can be taken out of this new lineup. Claude Giroux is now the center of the second line with teammate Wayne Simmonds, which might spark a few nice things. Matching Marner and Konecny might spark good things too, with both kids being highly energetic and creative. Brayden Schenn on the sideline is not that surprising either, but he will get the chance to rejoin the regular roster soon.

Next game is against Norway today. It should be a fairly easy win, but you never know at that level!
