Fans are already outraged about this trade and it's not even official yet.

Senators insider Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun is reporting that the Ottawa Senators have finalized a trade with the Vancouver Canucks that will send forward Alex Burrows from Vancouver to Ottawa.

While Burrows is one of the most widely reviled men in the National Hockey League that does not appear to be the issue, instead fans are furious that the price the Senators have reportedly paid in this deal is former second round pick Johnathan Dahlen, a 19-year-old center currently earning his stripes in Sweden.

The Senators may have paid a premium here because according to Sportsnet's Dan Murphy they have been allowed to negotiate a two-year contract extension with Burrows worth a reported $2.5 million per season.
