Team North America's head coach names the best player on his team, and the answer will surprise you.

Team North America has quickly become one of the biggest attractions at the World Cup of Hockey, and the National Hockey League's youngest and brightest stars have stepped up to the plate in a major and demonstrated that we have some great NHL hockey ahead of us for many years to come, but one player has distinguished himself above all according to head coach Todd McLellan.

With a roster that features names like Connor McDavid, Johnny Gaudreau, Auston Matthews, Matt Murray, Dylan Larkin and the list goes on, would would imagine that it would be one of these household names that would be that player, but it's not the case according to McLellan.

When speaking to the media on Tuesday he pointed instead to Toronto's blue line and defenseman Morgan Rielly stating that he had "arguably been our best player."

It's high praise from the coach of a rival Canadian team, and it's a terrific sign for the Maple Leafs who have Rielly under contract for the long-term, Remains to be seen if he will continue to excel in this tournament.
