Team reportedly has six players 'in play' ahead of trade deadline.

When it comes to being busy at the trade deadline, the Calgary Flames will likely have their hands full this year.

As the Feb. 29 NHL trade deadline approaches, the Flames have multiple players on the roster that could be "in play" for a potential deal.

According to TSN's Darren Dreger, the Flames have been receiving steady trade talk involving a list of players they have submitted as being 'on the market'. That list consists of forwards Jiri Hudler, Joe Colbourne, Josh Jooris, David Jones, defenseman Kris Russell and goaltender Jonas Hiller.

Calgary appears to be firmly in sell mode after dealing forward Markus Granlund to the Vancouver Canucks for Hunter Shinkaruk on Monday. The Flames have fallen out of any potential playoff race, and now sport the third-worst record in the Western Conference.

It is surprising to see a few of these names on this list, but the Flames obviously need to do something at the dealine with so many players deemed expendable at this point in the season.
