One young National Hockey League prospect is in some serious trouble, and now his organization has suspended him indefinitely indicating that they perhaps believe there is some substance to these charges.

As reported earlier this week, Blackhawks prospect Garret Ross was charged after he allegedly distributed a photo of a woman, who was at the time performing some form of sexual act, and did so without her consent in what is being called a case of "revenge porn."

On Wednesday the Blackhawks organization released the following statement:

“On Saturday afternoon, March 19, 2016, the Chicago Blackhawks and Rockford IceHogs learned of a legal proceeding against IceHogs player Garret Ross. At that time, we excused Garret from team activities pending our preliminary review of the matter. After further review, we have determined to suspend Garret indefinitely pending the outcome of the legal process. Because this is a pending legal proceeding, we will have no further comment at this time.”

There has been no update in the legal proceedings, Ross is schedule to appear in court next week and has already been charged in this case.
