Terrible news for one of the NHL's hottest teams right now.

The Pittsburgh Penguins have been on a tear as of late as they look to finish as high as possible in the Metropolitan division. They currently sit 2nd, just one point ahead of the New York Rangers.

However, they have been hit with some bad news. Their star goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury is out with a concussion. This is not good news with the playoffs just around the corner. Fleury has had a solid season. In 58 games he is 35-17-6 with a 2.29 GAA and a .921 save percentage. Goaltending is always so important when it comes to the playoffs. Matt Murray will get the start in place of Fleury tonight. Pittsburgh can clinch a playoff spot with a win against the New York Islanders tonight.

Injuries have been an unfortunate part of the Penguins the past few seasons. Key players out at key moments. Hopefully this isn't too bad and Flower will be ready to go game 1 of the Stanley Cup playoffs.
