A Stanley Cup contender has managed to get their hands on the best natural goal-scorer available on Deadline Day.

According to insider Elliotte Friedman, the Anaheim Ducks have acquired Florida Panthers' forward Brandon Pirri, in exchange for a 6th-round pick in 2016.

Pirri is a sniper who had fallen out of favor with the Panthers this season. This may explain the minimal return that the Panthers got for him.

After putting up 22 goals in 2014-15, Pirri is once again a scoring threat. The 24-year old center has recorded 11 goals and 13 assists for 24 points in 52 games played in 2015-16.

This is a steal for Ducks' GM Bob Murray, as his team managed to get extra scoring for essentially nothing.

This is by far the most one-sided trade made on Deadline Day as of yet.
