The Boston Bruins may be on the verge of making another big mistake.

There is some belief that the Boston Bruins may be on the verge of making a significant mistake.

According to a report from Bruins insider Joe Haggerty of CSNNE, the Bruins are currently looking at defenseman Kris Russell as a possible solution to bnolster their blue line through free agency.

From Haggerty's report:

The Bruins are kicking the tires on 29-year-old free agent defenseman Kris Russell as they continue to look for offseason solutions on the blue line, according to a league source. 

However Haggerty would also had that his sources are reporting that Russell already turned down a 4 year $17 million deal with the Leafs, and furthermore due to his "zero confidence" in Bruins management, believes there is a real risk of the Bruins massively overpaying for Russell.
