The Coyotes are getting closer to a relocation!

Yesterday the Arizona Coyotes confirmed that ASU has pulled out of the joint Tempe arena deal announced in November.

Well according to Darren Dregger, the Coyotes ownership were shocked by ASU's decision yesterday to pull out of arena project. It doesn't sound like there's a backup plan...

The Arizona Coyotes are already bleeding money due to their contract with the city of Glendale and they would be negotiating their next contract in a position of weakness. Again according to Dregger, the only options remaining for the Coyotes' ownership group is to stay in Glendale (and lose money) or relocate. The NHL controlling the latter.
