The early NHL All-Star voting results are in!

Once again fans will be the deciding factor when it comes to naming the captains of each division for the National Hockey League's All-Star festivities.

The voting has already begun and while there is still currently time to cast your vote the league on Monday released the early results of the fan vote, showing the top five players who received the most votes in each division.

If you were expecting to see a name similar to that of former NHL enforcer John Scott in the running this year you're going to be out of luck, there are no surprises in the running for the top spot this time around.

Players who are injured will not be eligible to be voted in as captain should they win the vote, so for example should Chicago's Jonathan Toews, who appears on the list, be voted in and remain out with his back injury, the winner would be the person with the second most votes.
