The Philadelphia Flyers finally put an end to their 10-game losing streak, and things might be looking up this week, as a potential trade rumors could do some good to their lineup.

According to Frank Seravalli of TSN, the Flyers might be looking to move goaltender Michal Neuvirth, especially now that several NHL rival clubs are crying for help in that department.

The Edmonton Oilers are struggling, and now that starter Cam Talbot is sidelined for God knows how long, the Canadian team is looking at the market to land a strong backup for the club.

Seravalli notes that "Neuvirth was the Oilers’ original No. 1 choice in free agency to backup Talbot in 2015, Chiarelli’s first summer with Edmonton, but he inked a two-year deal in the goalie graveyard that is Philadelphia."

Neuvirth is known to be a streaky goalie, but a hot streak could be the result of a new start with a different team, and Edmonton could be a perfect landing spot. Or the Calgary Flames have also been looking for help to provide starter Mike Smith.

We sincerely doubt the Flyers would be willing trade with the Pittsburgh Penguins, but they might ask questions about Neuvirth too...

The Flyers could spell the rest of the season with Alex Lyon or Dustin Tokarski backing up Brian Elliott if the return is right.

Neuvirth, who has another year on his deal at $2.5 million, would need to convince the Oilers he is the perfect help, especially since it could be an accounting puzzle to fit him in.

However, other clubs are in need and the Flyers could greatly benefit from a trade at this time of the season.
