At the same time last year, the Montreal Canadiens were in the middle of one their worst season since salary cap inauguration. Mostly because they had to deal with Carey Price season-ending injury.

This year, the Habs were plagued with injuries. Galchenyuk, Shaw, Desharnais, Markov, Pateryn, all long-term injuries and yet the Habs are on top of the Atlantic division. While many would think all the credit goes to Carey Price, he's not the Carey we used to know right now, showing a 0.895 save percentage in his last 9 games.

Head coach Michel Therrien finally got a good news this morning as the doctors cleared Alex Galchenyuk (who missed 18 games with a knee injury) and Andrew Shaw (who missed a whole month of action, dealing with a concussion).

Galchenyuk is set to return with his fellow Russian Alexander Radulov and team captain Max Pacioretty.
