The NHL and the hockey world are reeling today following the passing of legendary broadcaster Dave Strader. The 62-year-old play-by-play voice of the Dallas Stars was diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer, in June of 2016.

Following today’s tragic news many in the hockey world have come forward with not only their condolences, but also incredibly heartwarming stories.
