Curtis McElhinney has been everything that Jhonas Enroth wasn't for the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The 33-year old goaltender stopped 39-of-40 shots the Dallas Stars threw at him on Tuesday, en route to a 3-1 victory. McElhinney has been stellar since being added on waivers from the Columbus Blue Jackets, and sports a .935 save percentage, a 2-2 record and 2.11 goals against average in blue and white.

In comparison, Enroth had a pitiful .872 save percentage before being traded to the Anaheim Duckson Jan. 11, one day after McElhinney joined the Leafs.

McElhinney has been busy in his four starts for Toronto, making 115 saves on 123 shots over that span.

Toronto has a busy schedule down the stretch, with back-to-back games on Feb. 14 and 15 and Feb. 18 and 19. With no.1 goaltender Frederik Andersen struggling, McElhinney could be one of the most valuable pick up this season.
