The Maple Leafs may have found the D they were looking for!

The Toronto Maple Leafs are openly looking for a top-4 defenceman but little did they know, they might have one already within the organization.

Caught on camera during practice, Nazem Kadri "wished he could play D" which draw the attention of his teammates!

"Why? You s*ck at D. I saw you skating backward in Tampa..." said Jake Gardiner.

Kadri then tried to convince his teammates: "I'm smart, i freaking got [vision], i can make a first pass!"

The boys finally briefed him on what they have to face night in and night out " You got Lucic coming down a thousand miles per hour, you think that's fun?"... That might do it for Kadri and his defenceman experiment!
