The NHL has fined another player for diving/embellishment.

The National Hockey League has issued another fine for diving/embellishment but this one isn't as clear cut as some of the rulings in the past have been.

While you could certainly argue that Winnipeg Jets forward Alexander Burmistrov may have embellished to attempt to draw a penalty, you could probably just as easily argue that his actions were a result of legitimately being tripped.

Regardless of what you think of the decision, the end result is Burmistrov has been fined $2,000 on Thursday, and you can bet he probably isn't very happy about being publicly shamed for what looks like a borderline type of call.
