The NHLPA players poll revealed the most shocking thing about Brad Marchand!

The NHLPA players poll is back for the 2018-19 season as more than 500 players took part in the questionnaire and weighed in on a variety of questions. 

While some answers make perfect sense like how Montreal Canadiens’ Carey Price is seen as the best goalie and Washington Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin is revealed to have the best shot with his trademark one-timer, others will get fans confused and asking themselves some important questions. 

When asked which player in the league was the best trash talker, the players said it was Boston Bruins’ Brad Marchand. Of course, we all know how he can get under people’s skin and does a very good job at him.

However, is it possible to be the best and worst at something? Marchand was also voted as the league’s worst trash talker in the same poll! 

“Despite also being named the game’s best trash talker, the players’ vote goes to show Brad Marchand’s chirps aren’t for everyone,” you can read as a comment on the poll’s results for Marchand’s shocking reputation. 

After seeing this, Marchand could want to up his trash talking game. We will have to see in next season’s NHLPA player poll if he made enough improvement to get only one of the titles in 2019-20.
