The puck goes in, but the ref makes a huge mistake!

Nashville Predators forward Colton Sissons might take issue with referee Kevin Pollock if his team doesn’t come out on top tonight. The young forward banged home a loose puck that dropped behind Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Matt Murray for what appeared to be the opening goal of game 6. Except it wasn’t. 

Having lost track of the puck, veteran official Pollock blew the play down before Sissons made contact with the puck, effectively disallowing the game’s first goal.

Ouch. That hurts. The Nashville crowd reacted as you may expect. Chants of “REF YOU SUCK, REF YOU SUCK” echoed throughout the building immediately following the brutal missed goal.
