The Penguins who were one of the hottest teams heading into the playoffs have just got some great news. Marc-Andre Fleury and Olli Maatta might return to the lineup tonight for game 1 of their first round series against the New York Rangers.

Both Fleury and Maatta are game time decisions but both have been practicing the last few days and were back to their normal spots during the pre game skate. Fleury was also the first goalie off the ice which is usually reserved for the starting goaltender on game day. Maatta was back along side Kris Letang. Olli missed the first round series against the same Rangers last season due to injury so he is happy to be back.

Pittsburgh went on a surge the last few weeks. They even passed the Rangers in the process to finish second in the Metropolitan division and earn home ice advantage for their round one series. They will also want to bounce back from being eliminated in just 5 games last year. The Penguins have been hungry and there are some new faces that want to help the Pens do some massive damage in these playoffs.

The Quest for Lord Stanley's Cup begins in just over an hour!
