Many see the New York Rangers and the Montreal Canadiens as the nastiest series so far of the 2017 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs.

It’s also a well-documented fact that Brandon Gallagher’s hand will never be the same after two major injuries to the same one. 

A report from Richard Labbé (LaPresse & Montreal Canadiens insider) suggests the New York Rangers are trying to injured Habs key players on purpose.

One plus one makes two. Alain Vigneault’s players are trying by any means to slash Brendan Gallagher’s hand at every opportunity they get.

“You now understand why the Montreal Canadiens are so stubborn to give as many details as possible on their player’s injury,” said Labbé.

Since the beginning of the series, Gallagher has been under every Rangers player skin, playing is a role at the best.
