Details inside.
General manager Marc Bergevin and head coach Michel Therrien had enough of Alex Semin.
Semin whose returning from a lower-body injury saw his name placed on waivers earlier this afternoon. The once dangerous forward in the NHL only manage 4 points in 15 games in Montreal.
Things looked very promising at the beginning of the season when Semin, Galchenyuk and Eller were playing very well, but it did not last more than 5 games.
Semin quickly fell in Therrien's dog house and couldn't manage to earn his ice-time.
It would interesting to see if a team tries its luck, but Semin is likely packing for the KHL.
