The Sens refuse to make one major important move!

This could ruin them!

The Ottawa Senators have been more than struggling this season, and fans may want to enjoy the fact that today - they are still unbeaten in 2018.

Come on. You need to laugh about it.

The Sens are not getting ready to become big sellers at the Feb. 26 trade deadline, but one of the most important moves they could make is not going to happen. Unfortunately for fans, we are not talking about keeping top scorer Mike Hoffman in the fold.

No. According to Ottawa Sun's Bruce Garrioch, head coach Guy Boucher is not going anywhere.

"Senators head coach Guy Boucher isn’t going anywhere and a change won’t be made unless there’s a massive change of heart within the organization. Never say never, but it doesn’t feel like that move will be part of the attempt at finding a solution to what ails the team.

After six coaches in 10 years, the Senators have gone down that road enough and it’s time the players are held accountable for what has to be one of the organization’s most disappointing seasons in recent history.

No, Boucher isn’t perfect and there’s absolutely no question he comes off as stubborn, but he was hand-picked to replace Dave Cameron by general manager Pierre Dorion in May 2016 and the Senators don’t feel they’ll accomplish anything by making a coaching change for change’s sake."

While many wondered if a change would be on the bench or behind it, it seems more and more that the Senators will look differently next season, and that is with new faces in the roster.

While nothing is imminent for now, it has to be soon!
