The Sens send out new Season Ticket holder perks with picture of a fan flipping them off in the background!

It has been a train wreck in Ottawa since the start of the Senators’ 2018-19 season… 

You all know the mess that took place over the summer, which led to captain Erik Karlsson being traded to the San Jose Sharks and then the massive clean-up that took place at the deadline, when the Sens traded away the team’s three leading goal scorers - Matt Duchene, Mark Stone, and Ryan Dzingel prior to the deadline. 

It wasn’t over: head coach Guy Boucher was fired when you would think the Senators would prefer to stay out of the news and go under the radar. But NO! Let’s have all the bad attention on us, right? Bad publicly remains publicly… 

Geez… 

General manager Pierre Dorion sent out a letter to season ticket holders and basically tried to convince them that the most exciting times were to come for the team, with new young prospects coming in for a bright future. 

The Senators keep trying to entice season ticket holders to keep their place in the Canadian Tire Centre and come back next season. However, they sent out the new season ticket holder perks with a picture of a Detroit Red Wings fan flipping them off in the background.

Just seems appropriate for the type of season the Senators have offered their loyal fans and what the underlined message of their whole season is…
