“Dear @MapleLeafs I’ve been a #Leafs fan since 1972. You’ve followed my Twitter account for 10 years.Why did you unfollow me & everyone else,” you can read on Twitter while looking at the #Leafs. Actually there are plenty of tweets that looks like this one of fans firing at the organization on Twitter.

Why?

Quite simple. Maple Leafs unfollowed everyone on Twitter except team president Brendan Shanahan. Team has 1.54 million followers, but now only follows 1 person now. As reported by CBC “Maple Leafs Sports & Entertainment did not immediately respond to CBC Toronto’s request for comment, but a new account claiming to be the ‘official Maple Leafs fan interaction account’ has since cropped up.”
