This elite player will feel better after ending a 33 games slump.

Shayne Gostisbehere finally scored! 

After a 33 games slump, he scored an important powerplay goal tonight against the Penguins in the Stadium series game. With a large part of the third remaining, his goal got his team back within one. 

The skilled defenseman had an excellent season before falling in a deep lethargy. With 25 points in 21 games, he was on pace for a fabulous production. However, hockey being what it is, the next 33 games weren't that good. 

Well done Shayne. No go get many more before the end of the season, the team needs it.
