Dominic Moore scored his first goal as a Bruin last night against the Winnipeg Jets. The Bruins ultimately won the bout 4-1, with a valiant effort from the whole team.

This demonstrates that, although the Bruins were down 1-0, they managed to keep their head high and score four unanswered goals against their opponents. Not only did the forwards do well, but Rask himself should hold his head high with a 34-save victory he helped the team attain.

The Bruins finish their season-opening three games with a 2-1-0 record, and can play their first game home Thursday with a winning record. They take on the visiting New Jersey Devils who are with a 0-1-1 record.

The Bruins should win this one, if they choose not to take the Devils lightly. So far, I like where this team is going, in terms of their tenacity and ability to overcome obstacles as a whole. Gives me hope for the not-so-distant future.
