The start of the season is a few weeks away, meaning it's time for National Hockey League fans to get their fantasy hockey rankings in order.

But according to The Score, there are two forwards and a goaltender who you need to avoid in fantasy hockey pools this season. Several players can do have a new start with another team, but two forwards and a netminder are likely to suffer from all the changes the underwent in the summer.

Marcus Johansson was traded to the New Jersey Devils in early July, and he will have issues recreating the dynamic offense he had with Alex Ovechkin and T.J. Oshie of the Washington Capitals. Playing with newcomer Nico Hischier will decrease his scoring chances, hence hurting his statistics.

Last year, he scored a carder-high 24 goals, but do not expect the same this season...

Derek Stepan is surely going to miss the New York Rangers... The forward moved to the Arizona Coyotes, a club that got a lot less goals-per-game stat then the Blue Shirts. His new young Coyotes teammates won't be able to match Rich Nash and Jimmy Vesey...

Stepan can usually record 30 to 40 assists in a season, but he will struggle to do so with a less experienced roster.

Goalie Brian Elliott is going to do without the Calgary Flames' blue line, a defensive corps that got better this summer. He is now part of the Philadelphia Flyers, after he signed a two-year deal with the club.

Elliott will now "play behind a defensive group that tied for the 10th-most goals allowed in the NHL last season".

After recording a 2.55 goals against average and a .910 save percentage last year, he is expected to do worse this season...
