Three trade destinations for Kane revealed!

If we look at the first quarter of the season and how most of the previous seasons we were able to predict which teams would take part into the playoffs, the Buffalo Sabres are no where close.

According to NHL insiders Bob Mckenzie and Elliotte Friedman, new general manager Jason Botterill and head coach Phil Housley are struggling and a major move will be done to focus on the team's future. Both insiders believe top forward Evander Kane will be moved before the Trade deadline, and Friedman revealed some possible destinations on Calgary's Sportsnet 960 on Friday.

Yes, I do think Kane will likely be traded,” explained Friedman. “I think L.A. was a team that was interested in him in the summer. I could see him being a fit there. Columbus is looking for more of a center, but potentially I could see something like that. 5-on-5 scoring he’s up there with Auston Matthews as one of the best in the last 12 months, and teams are going to find room for that. Heck, I wonder even if you guys would consider something like that.

I think there’s a lot of teams that will take a long look at Evander Kane.”

Friedman sees Kane as a fit with the Los Angeles Kings, Columbus Blue Jackets and possibly the Tampa Bay Lightning

You look at that team, they’re really talented,” observed Friedman of the Lightning. “For example, it wouldn’t surprise me if Tampa Bay took a look at Evander Kane. I could see Yzerman going for one more piece that he would think would put them over.

Where do you think Kane will be after Feb. 26?
