Corey Crawford of the Chicago Blackhawks will hit the ice tonight as the starting goalie as the Blackhawks take on the Colorado Avalanche for the first time since the debut of the 2016-2017 NHL regular season.

Crawford has been putting up great numbers this season so far with 95 saves made out of 98 shots in the past three games alone.  He also shut out the Los Angeles Kings last Sunday with a final score of 3-0.

The Blackhawks are looking for their fourth win in a row tonight and the forward and defensive lines seem to have found their comfort zones.  Less issues dealing with the PK enables Crawford to perform at his best during even strength.

While Crawford is on the ice the Blackhawks have scored eight goals in their past two games while only letting in one.

Give it up for Corey Crawford and the Chicago Blackhawks as they challenge the Colorado Avalanche at the United Center at 8:30 p.m. (ET).
